What are you playing right now?

I got that Shadowrun Returns thing on a Steam sale. It's overly simplistic and linear, plus the future internet stuff is few and far between, but there's a certain 80s cyberpunk itch it scratches. Who in their right mind would release a game this full of Japanophobia in the Twenty Teens (even if it's "ironic" now that we've all moved on to being afraid of China running the world).

Tried playing some of the Star Wars MMO today and it is literally as bad as every other MMO in existence. Total crap. Kill 10 of these, go collect 10 of those. Total fucking shitfest. Why do people play these things?

Over the last couple weeks I have been able to play Dota with my idol a couple times due to being a sub to his Twitch channel, even tho he's a skilled professional, and I'm a lowly scrub. Today, unlike the last couple times, I didn't completely embarrass myself.

Not to get into too many specifics since I know most of you are Dota laymen, but I was responsible for the boat that comes crashing into this team fight after a few seconds and likely won us (the team with the green HP bars) the game:

I think I finally found a good MMO

Mitsume ga Tooru for NES, fun game

Bunch of my Dota friends (and all the people that used to play Dota but got exiled from playing with us because they sucked so bad) have started playing the Blizzard MOBA the last week. It lacks all the depth and nuance (and all the batshit crazy, arcane bullshit) of Dota, or even League, which we already consider Dota for babies. But it's casual and fun and the people that suck so bad at Dota have been at worst reasonably competent at it, so we've been having fun with it. I spent $20 on the starter bundle for it to get some heroes to start with.

Also picked up a copy of Diablo 3 cause you get the Diablo hero free in HotS when you own it and I figured it was about time I gave that game a shot. Tho tbh I wish I was playing it on a console or at least with the console's controller support on PC cause I fucking hate these infinite clicking action-RPG games with a mouse. The last one of these I tried to play was Torchlight 2 and that reminded me of how much extended periods of using a mouse was just murder on my arthritic, old-man hands.

Still playing lots of MonHun. Fucking love MonHun, but I'm at the point where I have to kill a lot of the highest level monsters in the game and it is becoming too much for the random players I meet in public rooms to handle. This is actually me irl:
